The first Orc Woman is a drawing I did for a class project 3 years ago. I took the idea and made some tweaks to the design for the purpose of eventually transforming this character into a digital sculpture. These sketches show my process of creation.
This is the first of many quick sketches to come. This is a practice sketch using a character created by a friend to improve my ink sketch work. Some things I've learned from this sketch is definitely the need to sketch using a brush pen verses micro or artists pens. I spent no more than 30 minutes on this sketch; a few minutes to map proportions and a few minutes of detailing.

Studies of the Sequential Fallout Mascot I used for the zombie apocalypse Sequential Fallout 5 Cover. We're using the design to create a new concept for Comic Book Club.

Some studies of subway stations I am doing for class. For more information, visit my modeling blog.

Sketching in the Classroom

Sketches of one of my classmates when I was bored in class. The hand is a simple study from a different classmate.

Animations

I took an Introduction to 2D Animation class this past quarter and I've learned a ton about animation and about the form, shape, and flexibility of an object. There's so much insight and studying that has gone into the art of 2D animation and the people who've mastered this style of art, Disney for examples, are truly worthy of the title of masters of animation for this is one of the most complex forms of drawing I've ever done. Here is an examples of my animations. It's by far the hardest animation project I've endured. Enjoy.
